Esta venda esta hecha con fibras vinculadas de calcio cruzado de alginato y es muy absorbente.       Es mejor utilizarla en la fase de limpieza cuando la herida está supurando         Best used in the cleansing phase of heavily discharging or infected wounds.  The hydrophilic fibers of Suprasorb A swell up on contact with exudate to form a non-sticky gel.  Even extremely heavy exudates can be absorbed in this fashion.  At the same time, close contact with the base of the wound is established, thus preventing the wound from drying out.  Bacteria and germs also become entrapped within the gel and are removed from the wound when the dressing is changed.
