Nighttime Compression Garments, Lymphedema Night Garments For Legs, Lymphedema Night Garments For Arms, Nighttime Compression Sleeve, Night-time Compression Garments For Lymphedema, And More

The Solaris collection of night compression garments reflects a line of quality compression hosiery and compression garments focused on providing you with the compression therapy that you need to treat a wide range of health conditions.

Why should you not wear compression socks at night? Most compression garments, including compression stockings and compression arm sleeves are designed to be worn during the day, and they provide higher levels of compression for the periods when you’re active and moving about. However, you can’t just wear these same lymphedema garments at night, because you need to wear something that provides compression – so that the lymphatic fluid won’t build back up overnight.

The Solaris Caresia lymphedema sleeves simplify complex multi-layered compression bandaging for lymphedema protocols by providing an alternative to foam pads and padding, tubular bandages, and short stretch compression bandages. You can simply put on the Caresia lymphedema sleeve, and then wrap the short stretch compression bandages on top, without all of the extra time and steps required to complete your traditional lymphedema wrapping. With the Caresia lymphedema sleeve, there’s no need to keep track of layers upon layers of compression bandaging supplies anymore!

After the compression bandages have been applied, the specially designed foam channels within the Caresia lymphedema sleeve apply directional or bidirectional compression to the underlying tissues, while unique foam particles nestle into tissue to create localized tissue stretch and pressure differential. This tissue stretch opens the initial lymphatic gaps to encourage re-absorption of interstitial fluids and particles. Simply put, this means that the Caresia compression sleeve helps move fluid where it needs to go! The Caresia night time compression gauntlet for lymphedema is excellent for you to replace night time bandaging if you have swelling and tissue induration in the dorsum. Many therapists also recommend this compression gauntlet for their post-surgical hand patients and patients with arthritis or hand lymphedema. The Caresia compression gauntlet may also be worn with the Caresia lymphedema arm sleeve if you have swelling and tissue induration caused by arm lymphedema.

When Should You Wear Solaris Nighttime Compression Garments / Solaris Night-time Compression Garments For Lymphedema

Nighttime compression garments (lymphedema night garments for legs, lymphedema night garments for arms, head and neck garments) are ideally suited for helping to manage edema (swelling) caused by lymphedema when worn at night and during periods of low activity. When worn as night-time compression garments for lymphedema, these night compression garments are usually worn during the secondary, or "maintenance" phase of lymphedema treatment which occurs after completion of lymphedema complete decongestive therapy (CDT).

There are a variety of medical and health conditions which would indicate the need for night compression garments. If you suffer from edema (swelling) of the legs, arms hands or feet, lymphedema in legs and arms, varicose veins and vein disease such as venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which is a blot clot that forms in a deep vein, or a venous leg ulcer, the following night time compression garments should be considered as part of your treatment regimen:

  • nighttime compression garments for edema
  • nighttime compression garments for venous insufficiency
  • nighttime compression garments for chronic venous insufficiency
  • nighttime compression garments for varicose veins
  • nighttime compression garments for blood clots
  • nighttime compression garments for venous leg ulcers
  • nighttime compression garments for lymphedema

Note that nighttime compression garments such as lymphedema night garments for legs or lymphedema night garments for arm are generally indicated for use at night and periods of low activity to provide gentle compression to the affected limb to prevent the recurrence of edema (swelling) while preventing constriction and allowing for the unrestricted flow of fluids.
