Short Stretch Compression Bandages For Lymphedema Bandaging

The third, outer layer of a multi-layer compression bandage used for lymphedema wrapping during Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) consists of short stretch compression bandages. Placed on top of the layer of foam and padding, the "short stretch" capacity of these bandages creates a external layer of working pressure that helps control swelling (edema), maintains limb size and promotes the flow of lymph fluid out of the affected area being wrapped.
