Stockinette For Lymphedema Bandaging

The tubular stockinette is the initial layer of a multi-layer compression bandage used for lymphedema wrapping during Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT). The tubular stockinette is applied directly to the skin to help provide protection from the pressure of the outer layer of short stretch compression bandages.

Available in either a standard inelastic variety, or as a tubular elastic stockinette, they feature woven construction that enables the stockinette to conform to the shape of the limb being wrapped. This inner stockinette layer will also help to absorb sweat and moisture, while protecting the skin and helping to distribute the pressure of the compression bandages.
