You will need to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation, but in general, most compression garments should be hand-washed or machine-washed (on a gentle cycle) and then air dried (by laying them flat).
What Is The Process For Ordering A Custom Compression Garment
To order a custom compression arm sleeve, arm wrap, gauntlet, or glove, you will need to order and pay for the product. You will also need to print out our downloadable order form, fill it out, and submit it to us.
How Long Does It Take To Receive A Custom Garment
Your custom compression sleeve, gauntlet, or glove will usually ship within 1-3 weeks after we have received your order and measurements.
Will I Need To Provide Measurements For My Custom Garment
On the order form for your custom garment, you will need to fill in exact measurements for your arm sleeve, arm wrap, gauntlet, or glove.
Can I Take The Measurements Myself
To ensure a precise fit, you should have a certified fitter or lymphedema specialist take your measurements.
Are Custom Compression Garments Returnable
Because they are made just for you, custom compression garments are non-returnable.
Will Medicare And Private Insurance Pay For Custom Compression Garments
In general, Medicare and private insurance companies will pay part of the cost of compression garments (up to their allowable limits – which are typically quite low). You also have the option of using your FSA or HSA account to pay for part or all of the cost of the garments.
