Made by 3M Durapore is a "silk-like" general purpose surgical tape, which may be used for many different applications such as securing bulky dressings, tubing and small splints. The latex-free hypoallergenic adhesive of Durapore offers high strength adhesion that is gentle to the skin. Durapore is excellent for repeated applications on sensitive skin and elderly patients, and allows for moisture evaporation and for the skin to breathe while leaving minimal adhesive residue upon removal. The non-irritating adhesive of Durapore allows for easy removal, making it a great first aid tape for post-surgery applications and frequent gauze changes. Durapore medical tape is also an excellent companion to Micropore bandage tape / medical tape.
