The Sorbalux™ sterile drain sponges from Hartmann USA are fast wicking and absorbent non-woven sponges which may be used in wound cleansing and prepping, ointment application, wiping needles, cleaning slides and other wound care applications. The six-ply Sorbalux™ sponges provide a soft, sterile surface and protection for granulating wounds that helps reduce complications, enhance patient comfort and promote optimal wound care and healing. For use as either an all-purpose primary or secondary wound sponge, or as a drain sponge around tubes and catheters, Sorbalux™ sterile drain sponges may be secured with a latex-free retention tape such as Omni Fix.
